Father Mother Sister Brother

Three separate stories about distant relationships between adult children and their parents. Each of the three parts takes place in the present day, in a different country. "The Father" is set in the northeastern United States, "The Mother" in Dublin, Ireland, and "The Sister Brother" in Paris, France. The film is a series of character studies — quiet, observational, and non-judgmental. A comedy, but woven through with threads of melancholy.
